By Samantha Williams

Reading opponent is one of the most common techniques used by gamblers to keep their opponent confused during the game. It’s an advance level skill so it’s a little bit tricky for the beginners but it is an old said that “Practice makes a man perfect” so you should not leave the hope. You are not on the table to give your opponent an equal chance of wining the game. Confusion is a reciprocal approach but only useful when you take part actively in planting the seeds of deception. If you want to make yourself unreadable then you should be capable of judging the circumstances and should have decision power to take some sharp and bold decisions on the spot.

In online poker, reading the opposition is the most important thing because if you failed to read your opposition then you have lost your game before starting. In military, this technique is known as counter-intelligence as it is considered as an essential part of heir training. A good poker player is constantly keep on learning by keeping himself in touch with the game because its not like that once you get a diploma of learning techniques of poker then you become the best player. In this game if you want to become the best then you should play more and more games and have to do a lot of practice of your techniques.

It’s not an easy task to read the opponent but to become the best you have to overcome all these hurdles. To read the opponent first of all you should watch opponents carefully and then pick some tells and then conclude your perception about your opponents. And one thing you should always keep in your mind that even if you started to conclude the accurate presumptions about your opponent but you are still at a distance from being the best. The main point is that you should not be over confident but keep your nerves in control and play the game in a normal way.

While concluding your presumption about you opponent you should also consider the other elements. You should be aware of everyone who is surrounding around your table and try to keep an eye on them. Like the usage of cuff buttons show the strength of opponent’s money power. Similarly you should be in the search of such actions by which you can easily judge your opponent. Once you judge any action of your opponent then it will be very easier for you to know what your opponent is going to do?

But you should be aware of fake actions because sometimes experienced players use this technique to deceive the players. They use some specific action again and again and play the similar trick of cards as they played previously but at end when you started a big game then they dodged you by this similar technique. So if you are a good mind reader then you will easily recognize that which action is for deception and which is real. Once you figure out his any specific action then you can easily dominate at the table.
