						What is Gambling Addiction? 
						
						Addiction means dependence on a substance or with some 
						activity by a person avoiding which may create a great 
						mental hardship on the person. Drug, alcohol is the 
						substance where person generally addicted. Behavioral 
						addiction may refer to gambling addiction, sexual 
						addiction, Internet addiction and etc. 
						
						Today gambling addiction is a very common problem among 
						adults as well as adolescence. It is considered as a 
						social problem. Gambling basically a game played for fun 
						and a way of earning quick money. But gamblers are not 
						always addicted with the way of earning money. Gamblers 
						are addicted with the action, not money. 
						
						
						Causes of Gambling Addiction: 
						
						There are so many reasons behind addiction of gambling, 
						as addiction is itself a complex behavior. Moral 
						weakness is considered as the main cause for gambling 
						addiction. But it is not always true. The main reasons 
						which causes gambling addiction are: 
							
							
							
							Family members involvement in gambling
							
							
							Neighborhood gambling addiction
							
							
							Lack of direction and attention from the family.
							
							
							
							Poverty, poor living conditions, or isolation from 
							other people. 
							
							
							Failure in school. 
							
							
							Failure to develop the ability to get along with 
							peers. 
							
							
							Growing up in a neighborhood where gambling is 
							common and widely accepted activity. 
						
						Apart from that researcher believe there are two main 
						reasons behind gambling action, as physiological 
						dependence and psychological dependence. In 
						physiological dependency gambler wants to stick with 
						gambling because he fills excitement with such gambling 
						behavior. Psychological problem of addiction is 
						regarding as a gambler’s mental illness and to avoid his 
						duty and problem gambler played gambling. 
						
						
						Symptoms of Addiction: 
						It 
						is difficult to identify the symptoms of addicted 
						gambler. Because all addicted nearly has same symptoms. 
						The main symptoms that we often seen upon addicted 
						gambler are: 
							
							
							
							Spending too much money on gambling.
							
							
							Gambling is viewed as a real opportunity to make 
							money
							
							
							Persuading friends to gamble against their will
							
							
							Spending a lot of time alone gambling
							
							
							Frequenting amusement arcades, betting shops, race 
							tracks, or casinos several times a week. 
							
							
							
							Excessive use of Internet casinos and gambling sites
							
							
							Spending more than they can afford on the Lottery
							
							
							Committing crime to fund gambling or to pay off 
							gambling debts
							
							
							Avoiding family responsibilities and duties. 
						
						
						Treatment of Addiction: 
						
						Gambling addiction is a progressive disease, which grow 
						slowly until the victim totally spoiled with that. There 
						are three effective method of treatment gambling 
						problem. Education is considered as a primary method of 
						gambling addiction treatment. Counseling is the best 
						method of treatment for addicted gambler. Online 
						counseling also helps in treatment. Finally you can take 
						help of medication treatment also, which also quite 
						effective. 
						
						
						Prevention of Addiction: 
						
						Prevention is better than cure. This famous maxim is 
						also applicable with this gambling addiction problem. We 
						must conscious about increasing gambling addiction in 
						our society and we should develop some awareness and 
						conduct education program to avoid
