Sports Gambling:
Today sports gambling are
quite familiar for gambler and bookie. Initially
gambling refers only card gambling but now gambling
activity has a wide family including numerous sports
activity like, baseball, football, basketball, various
racing game, rugby, hockey, cricket, etc. now gambling
concept is like “where there is sport there is
gambling”. Sports gambling mean prediction of results of
sports event prior to the game.
Types of Sports
Betting:
There are various types of
sports betting. In sports betting gambler
making a wager on the outcome of a
sporting event. The simple form of gambling in a
sporting event is that which team or who will win the
match. Sometimes in a match like football or basketball
gambling is occur on the event like what are the total
score of the match or which player will score maximum.
Bookmakers
generally offered two types of betting option in
sporting event,

Money line Bet: These are
used to set odds on sports such as football,
baseball and hockey (team match) and as well as
individual vs. individual matches, like tennis,
boxing, etc. In money line bet two totals has given
for either side, a negative and a positive. Example:
Manchester United -150 and Celtic +130,
What this means is that for every $15 you bet on
Manchester United, you win
$10 if they win. For every $10 you bet on
Celtic, you win $13 if they
win.

Point spread Wager: These
type of betting used in basketball game and American
football. This is a single wager made on
either the favorite or underdog team. A wager on the
favored team means that this team must not only win
but also win by the specified point spread. A wager
on the underdog means that this team may either win
or lose as long as they do not lose by the specified
point spread.
There are
some other betting option also which are provide by
bookmakers such as,

Proposition Bets: This is
the very specific regarding outcome of the match
deciding the number of goals in a soccer match or
who score how much in such game.

Parlays:
Here betting on the outcome of two or more events.
All teams wagered on in a parlay must win. If there
is a tie, it reverts down to the next lowest number
for payoff.

Goal line Bets: This is
alternative wager for money lines wager. Here fixed
point spread offers higher pay off for favorite and
lower pay off for underdog.

Future Wagers: Its
totally depends upon a future event which yet to
come. Here basically wagers on which player will
score more in upcoming session or who will win.
Legality of Sports Gambling:
Is
sports gambling legal? This is the most frequently
asked question everywhere. In various countries law are
different regarding sports gambling. In Europe sports
gambling is legalized while in North America sports
gambling is generally prohibited. But if you want to
gambling legally in US you
can bet legally at licensed Nevada Sports Books. There
are four ways to bet on US among which two are legal,
one is illegal and one is ambiguous.
