						Cons Of Casino Gambling

 Casino Gambling is one
of the most lucrative form for entertainment in United
States today. As matter of fact the last year gambling
revenues were more than the collective revenues earned
from record music, theme park, video games, spectator
sports and movie tickets. Revenues from gambling have
been ever rising. The growth has been steady and
consistent at a rate of 10 percent from last twenty
years. With the rising revenues from the gambling
industry there is also a rising number of pathologic
gamblers and related social problems. Casino gambling
has both positive and negative effects and both have a
significant effect on the society. This game of chance
has put many youths and adults future to stake, and most
belong to the less privileged class of the society.

 Cons of Casino Gambling

With the widening influence and popularity of gambling
there has been a proportional growth in the number of
pathologic gamblers or addicted gamblers. Gambling
addiction is a serious threat to the society wherein the
addiction not only spoils the gamblers life but also of
his dependents and loved ones. The numbers of addicted
gamblers are rising at an alarming rate. According to a
research, currently there are approximately 2.5 million
pathological gamblers, 3 million problem gamblers, and
another 15 million people at a risk to become
pathological gamblers in the United State.
Addiction leads to a rise in crime. Addiction of
gambling forces the pathological gamblers to steal or
embezzle to feed and support their addiction. On the
other every loss suffered by the addicts adds to their
frustration, which they often remove on the public and
their loved one. According to a study gambling leads to
increases in violent crimes, crimes against property,
white-collar crimes, drug and alcohol related crimes
domestic violence, insurance fraud and domestic
						violence.

As being a game of making money in one night, casino
gambling is more popular amongst the lower strata of the
society. And most times they end up spending significant
part of their incomes on an illusion of getting rich in
						the quickest time.

 Pros of Casino Gambling

						If played as an
entertainment and not as a source of making money casino
						gambling also have its
						pros. With
every Casino there are lots of job attached to it. In
fact for every $1 million revenue generated by the
gambling industry new 13 jobs are created with it. These
jobs not only help those who actively work for the
casino but even the local non-gambling businesses
receive a impetus. Casino gambling also serves the
society through the net tax revenues that it pays to the
						government.

its spirit can be real fun …but if you want to make
money from the game remember not many are lucky.
