 Video Virus

Video poker games are immensely liked by people of all
ages. Video poker has the fantastic blend of poker
thrills and video effects. This makes video poker highly
tempting for the gambling enthusiasts to ignore.
However, it takes no time for an individual to go
overboard in this process of playing video poker. There
are times when people do not even realize that they have
become addicted to video poker and gambling.

 Problem Poker

Video poker games are highly acknowledged among the
gambling circles. There are computerized consoles that
are set up in casinos for the people to enjoy video
poker games. Even on the Internet, people can enjoy all
types of video poker games with the best graphics and
sound effects. Due to all these attractive factors
individuals first turn to video poker just for fun.
There are times when people log on to the net only to
have fun and play video poker games. Gradually,
individuals start spending an increasing amount of time
on these video poker games. Then eventually people spend
hours and days on end before their PCs or in the casinos
hooked to the video poker games. This is where the whole
						problem begins.

When individuals get addicted to video poker there is a
great change in their attitude and behavior. They no
longer feel the same thrill of winning small or
moderately priced games. They always long to win only
the big games. In this pursuit they tend to put a lot of
money at stake. If they lose, they do not even stop at
that point. They play even more in the hope to
compensate for the loss. This way, they get stuck in the
vicious circle of gambling that destroys the lives of
						several people.

 Video poker addicts
simply cannot stop thinking of video poker. Each time
they have a stronger urge to play video poker, even if
they try to resist themselves as much as possible. This
adversely affects the personal and professional lives of
the addicts. Their family life is destroyed along with a
slump in the work productivity. All these are the
effects of video poker addiction. It is necessary for
the people to understand the need to play video poker
						within their limits.
