 What is
						legalized gambling?

						Legalized gambling can be
defined as the gambling, which has the backing of the
laws of that specific area in which the gambling
activities are carried on. There are some states in the
United States of America, where the gambling is not
legal. In these states, gambling is an offence and any
person found involved in any of the gambling activity
can be prosecuted. The gambling activities in these
states cannot be called as legalized gambling. If the
gambling is legalized in any state, the gamblers can
gamble in that play in that state.
						Problems in legalizing
						the gambling
						There are a lot of
problems in legalizing the gambling in any state. The
first problem in legalizing the gambling is the
compulsive gambling. Compulsive gambling is a mental
disorder in which the gambler cannot quit gambling even
if he tries to do so. According to experts legalized
gambling can increase the chances of this disorder in a
						person. Another point against the
						legalized gambling
is that according to a recent study, there is a direct
correlation between the gambling and the crime rates in
the state. The suicide rate is also higher in the states
						where the gambling is legalized.
						Advantages in
						legalizing the gambling
						One of the most important
advantages in legalizing the gambling is that the
gambling can provide a lot of revenues to the state. It
is seen that the gambling has provided huge revenues to
the states in which the gambling is allowed. It is the
main source of revenue in the state of California. The
second advantage is that it is a good way to spend your
leisure time. This is the reason a lot of people are
pressurizing the state to legalize the gambling.
						Conclusion
						It
is better for any state to legalize the gambling
because, even if it is not legal the people can gamble
on the internet. The revenues provided by the state can
be used for the other productive works for the public
interests. Considering all these reasons in favour of
gambling, most of the states in the United States of
						America have legalized the gambling.
