 What is the reality

There are many facts about the gambling, which the
gamblers should know but they do not know. These vital
facts can help them to keep away from the adverse
affects of the gambling. The gambling has reached to the
roots of many of us. Some of the vital facts are listed
						below which can prove useful.

						Some general myths and facts

Many of the people think that some people can predict,
if a coin is coming heads or tails when it is flipped.
It is a pure myth. In fact, each flip of the coin is an
independent event. The chances of heads or tails coming
up in a single flip are 50 per cent, regardless of the
fact that what the result of the last flip was. It is
also a myth between many youngsters that a person below
18 years can buy a lottery. This is absolutely wrong. It
is against the provincial lottery regulation of each
state. It is also a hard fact that most of the gamblers,
in any casino lose more money than they win. It is
absolutely impossible for a casino to stay in the
business, if it pays more money than it took.

Important facts about the compulsive gambling

It is a fact that, the state of Nevada, which has one of
the largest numbers of gamblers in USA, also recorded
the most number of suicides and divorces. This fact
clearly proves that there is a clear relation between
the suicide cases and the gambling. This
						fact also
proves that gambling affects the family life of many
gamblers. A study conducted by the National Impact Study
Commission has concluded that gambling introduces a
greatly heightened level of stress and tension into
						marriages and families.

In a recent study report it was clearly seen that suicide
attempts among pathological gamblers are higher than for
any other addictions. It is also interesting to note
that suicide attempt rates in compulsive gamblers are
only second to individuals with major affective
disorders, schizophrenia and a few major hereditary
disorders. It is also an eye-opener for most of the
people that 67 percent of the teenagers gamble in one
						way or the other.
