 Laws of Vegas

When you think of gambling the name that
immediately strikes your mind is that of Las Vegas. Las
Vegas is considered as the gambling capital of the
world. It is the place which makes all the gambling
rules, sets new gambling trends for the world to
follow and is the undoubted leader in gambling. Las
Vegas is a gambler’s paradise. But the issue of the
legal gambling age or the acceptable age for gambling is
as burning in Vegas as in any other place in the world.

What is the Legal Gambling Age in Las Vegas?

According to law, the legal gambling age in Las Vegas is
						21. The law also prohibits the entry of minor children
or youngsters below the permissible age anywhere near
the gambling areas. There are some other laws that are
implemented in Vegas when the issue is about under-age
children. Children or youngsters below 21 years of age
are primarily not allowed inside the casinos. Even if
they do get the permission to enter the casino, they are
not allowed to wait near the playing areas and must only
take a round in the casino and leave.

They are also not supposed to remain outside their homes
after 10 p.m. on weekdays and after 12 in the midnight
on weekends. Also, even if they must stay out after the
restricted time, they must be accompanied by an adult.

 Other Legal Prohibitions

The law also prohibits the children and youngsters below
21 from the following activities in Vegas:

 1)

						 They are not allowed to
play or indulge in any kind of gambling or betting.
 2)
						They cannot place any wagers.
 3)  They
are also not eligible and cannot collect money
						personally or from any agent.
 4)  Any
slot machine, race book or a sports pool is also
						strictly prohibited.
 5)

Even employment of children or youngsters below 21 is
not allowed by law in Las Vegas.

 Conclusion

Thus Las Vegas being the gambling capital of the world
also is a leader in implementing laws about gambling.
						The Las Vegas
authorities make sure that children and under age
teenagers do not gamble and only those gamblers who are
above the acceptable age limit can enter the casinos.
