                      March 15, 2006
						Nobody knows for certain
how much money can be spend on games of chance each
year, but to be sure, socially sanctioned or legal forms
of gambling have been estimated to be worth some $20 -
$27 BILLION annually. Moreover, these figures will
likely increase quite substantially in the very near
future, given the trend towards increased availability
of gambling venues throughout many parts of the country.
Despite some rather impressive research and programmatic
undertakings in this area of study to date, there is
still much to be learned about the negative consequences
associated with gambling behaviors. The need for new
knowledge, and an efficient and appropriate translation
of same into programs and services which will assist
problem gamblers and their significant others has never
been greater. The specific purpose is occasionally
during festival like deepawali, holi, most people play
gambling they think they might win a big jackpot by
playing this game, can’t say this game is in favor of
luck, if luck strikes you may win a jackpot.

Mostly the poor people also play gambling try their
luck. Mostly the people get addicted in this game and
they start drinking and taking drugs. They get wrong
habits in gambling. Mostly people cheat in gambling and
rob money from the poor people. Gambling is done in many
						ways:
 1. horse gambling
 2. cards gambling
 3. cockpit

 What is cockpit?

A cockpit was originally a pit used for cockfighting,
where owners would pit fighting birds against each other
for the purpose of gambling. It was used to mean a place
of entertainment or frenzied activity. All the poor
people go in for cockpit and win also. Many people play
in slot machines. The Traditional slot machines are
coin-operated machines with three or more reels, which
spin when a lever on the side of the machine is pulled.
The machines include a currency detector that validates
the coin or money inserted to play. (The slot machine is
also known informally as a one-armed bandit because of
its appearance.) The machine typically pays off based on
patterns of symbols visible on the front of the machine
when it stops. Modern computer technology has resulted
in many variations on the slot machine concept. Today,
slot machines have become one of the most popular
						attractions in casinos.
