Blue Chip Casino Ready to Open As reported by the Indiana Post-Tribune: "The opening of the $170 million Blue Chip Casino boat is scheduled for Jan. 31, casino officials announced Wednesday. "A steakhouse, a deli, a coffee bar, an entertainment lounge, 2,200 slot machines and nearly 1,000 extra parking spaces will be some of the changes patrons may notice when they walk through the doors of the 65,000-square-foot casino on U.S. 12 in Michigan City. "The entire gambing space will be on one level, and will have wider aisles for easier access to the machines.
