Players Network, GWIN Sign DealThe Players Network, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: PNTV), the leading media company in the gaming lifestyle category and GWIN, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: GWNI), America's only publicly- traded sports handicapping and information company, in association with Cool Hand Root, LLC, announced today an agreement to co-produce a series of new and original programming based on the booming gaming lifestyle category. The first two series, "Inside Vegas: Behind the Money" and "Cool Hand Root" will begin production at Players Network Studios in the fourth quarter this year.
Executive produced by best-selling author and world-renowned sports handicapper Wayne Allyn Root and Michael Berk, Players Network's President of Programming and the Executive Producer of Baywatch, the shows will be distributed through the company's multiple distribution platforms including its Players Network VOD Channel on Comcast, its Broadband Internet Site, HomeVideo, In-Room and on Mobile media. Each program will be supported through sponsorships and advertising; and, the company also expects to package the shows for direct sale to a broad range of media outlets, both domestically and internationally, including mainstream broadcast and cable television networks. The company established the multiple platform revenue model with its successful "World Series of Poker(R)" programming in July. "Players and GWIN have the combined experience and credibility in the gaming world to create shows to fill the world's seemingly insatiable appetite for Vegas and gambling entertainment," said Wayne Allyn Root, CEO of GWIN.
