The lucky winner, who asked to remain anonymous, had seen the Megabucks (R) signs which read, "One pull can change your life" and said, "Now I know that it's true." The jackpot, which hit around 2:30 a.m., comes on the heels of Elmer Sherwin's $21,147,947 Megabucks (R) win at the Cannery on September 15. Sherwin is the first person in the history of Megabucks (R) to win the top jackpot twice. He won his first Megabucks (R) prize of $4.6 million at the Mirage in 1989. The latest Megabucks (R) jackpot at the Aladdin Resort & Casino marks the 65th time this prize has been won in the almost twenty years that Megabucks (R) has been in operation in Nevada. The progressive jackpot, which resets at $10 million, requires the maximum three-coin bet. Over 600 Megabucks(R) games can be found in Nevada casinos. A recent addition to the MegaJackpots(R) family is Video Megabucks(R). With a current jackpot over $11.3 million, Video Megabucks(R) will set a world record for the largest penny jackpot of all time.
