Pet Motel Added to UK Casino Proposal As reported by the UK Herald: "Plans for a pet motel at a new Las Vegas-style casino complex in a village have been revealed. "The proposed entertainment centre at Bowling, West Dunbartonshire, dubbed River City, also features a waterpark, retail and entertainment precinct, observation tower, and its own train station. "JPI, a project management firm, is behind the plans for a former Esso oil terminal. The project was drawn up at the request of Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire as the UK's gambling laws were relaxed. Dave Anderson, chief executive of Scottish Enterprise Dunbartonshire, said: 'We were looking at a destination development in or around Loch Lomond and that is how this came about.' "…'It would be more of a destination complex. The pet motel, which is basically an upmarket kennel for guests, is also interesting and has proven to be very popular in resort casinos in North America and Australia.'…" |
