As reported by the icHuddersfield:"A casino complex could be built in Huddersfield as part of a shake-up of gambling laws.

"Secret considerations have been made within Kirklees Council as to whether to apply for a licence to house a new gambling den.

"…The Examiner understands the newly- formed Casino Advisory Panel has asked Kirklees Council whether they would want such a development.

"A council source said discussions were on-going.

"…Huddersfield already has a sucessful casino at the Folly Hall leisure complex."
