Betandwin Signs Deal with Czech Soccer Team

In the company's first major involvement since it started working the Czech market recently, betandwin has entered into a co-operation agreement with FC Slovan Liberec, the Czech division one soccer team. The partnership between betandwin and the club that currently heads the league in the top Czech soccer division will last until 31 July 2008, with an option to extend it beyond this date.

betandwin will be acquiring an extensive sponsoring package under the terms of this agreement. Apart from displaying the betandwin logo on players' jerseys in all the club's matches - including games played in the UEFA Cup and the Champions League - the sponsoring agreement also includes extensive branding of the club's stadium, the rights to pictures of players and the team, and a presence on the club's website.

Along with ice hockey, soccer is one of the most popular sports in the Czech Republic. FC Slovan Liberec heads the first Czech soccer division (Gambrinus Liga), and has already won the championship once (in the 2001/2002 season).
