Harrah's to Open Smoke-Free Room As reported by the North Carolina Citizen-Times: "Gamers hankering for a smoke-free casino experience are in luck. Harrah's Cherokee Casino & Hotel will host a grand opening Monday, including a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting, for its nonsmoking game room.
"Customer demand inspired the smoke-free area, which is in its own building away from the main floor. It's been open a little more than a week and customers are 'thrilled,' said Lynne Harlan, public relations assistant at the casino. "The facility is about 8,000 square-feet and accessible from outside, through the hotel and through the main casino. There are about 280 games, including all the offerings of the main floor, Harlan said…"
