WPT Considers Merger As reported by Reuters: "WPT Enterprises Inc. on Tuesday said it hired a financial adviser to assist in exploring growth alternatives, including the sale or merger of its business, sending its shares up more than 8 percent. "WPT Enterprises, which created the television show World Poker Tour and operates a gaming Web site, said it wanted to explore ways to increase its presence in the market for online gaming.
