As reported by the  Australia ABC News: “Australia could have a new gambling entity with the  announcement of a planned merger between two major companies.  
“Queensland’s Unitab and Victoria’s Tatterall’s companies are planning to merge to create a company with operations in every state and territory.
“Unitab chief executive Dick Mc Ilwain says the two companies complement each other and will generate expected revenue of more than $3 billion.
“?Gaming analyst at CCZ Securities Tony Waters says the proposed merger would mean Unitab will not be making a future bid against Tattersall’s for Victorian gambling licences?”
