As reported by the Ontario Business Edge: “The Manitoba government is 
looking at whether there should be more Aboriginal casinos in the province. 
“The province’s gaming control commission is going to hire a company to 
conduct a market study, to see whether the idea is feasible. “.Commission 
spokeswoman Liz Stephenson says the study will examine whether more casinos 
could help Aboriginal economic development, as well as the province’s 
tourism industry.”
