The gamblers have a different psychology than the normal person. The gamblers are sometimes impulsive and also show deviant behavior at times especially when they start losing. Casual gamblers may not be more impetuous than non-gamblers in discounting the value of a delayed reward in favor of a smaller amount of cash on hand. But gamblers take more chances likely than non-gamblers on a possible higher payoff in its place of taking a smaller guaranteed reward.
