Gambling- social status Gambling is just a game, so where is the social angle to it If this is what you wish to know, then you should try and understand that there is a social aspect to it because it concerns people and there are people in the society who still look down upon the game of gambling. It has been observed that though the game of the casinos may amuse some of the people but at the same time one needs to understand that the families of the people involved in the game might not just expect there family member to involve in a game where money is at risk. The social view point is also attached to it because it brings home mental and physical problems, then whether they are of money or of hard luck and the risk of loosing.
