Gambling is just a game,
so where is the social angle to it? If this is what you
wish to know, then you should try and understand that
there is a social aspect to it because it concerns
people and there are people in the society who still
look down upon the game of gambling. It has been
observed that though the game of the casinos may amuse
some of the people but at the same time one needs to
understand that the families of the people involved in
the game might not just expect there family member to
involve in a game where money is at risk. The social
view point is also attached to it because it brings home
mental and physical problems, then whether they are of
money or of hard luck and the risk of loosing. And hence
there is a social status of every game, and so is of
gambling.
What are the social
angles??
The myths about the
game:
Myths and
misconception turn around the gambling pattern and
behaviors of all gamblers, but this is chiefly true
related to the elderly people involved in the game. For
example many people consider such things as: “older
people on permanent incomes just don’t have the cash to
get really involved in betting.” Other members of the
public suppose that “older persons don’t get elsewhere
much, so they are not likely to get into difficulty with
gambling.”
The Impact
of Gambling:
The large
or the greater parts of gamblers experience no ill
belongings from their in charge gambling practice; this
is usually true irrespective of the category of betting
in which they contribute. Most mature persons who
participate in betting activities enjoy the social
outing and the significance with others in their age
group. But, based upon the information provided, on top
of we know that those who get enthusiastic on gambling,

due to the game being looked down upon
· Loss
of life through suicide or self killing
In some
instance many of these statuses result from betting
problems. In many other instances the situation
described above lead to a variety of troubles, including
those related to betting.
