The Georgia state Legislature might be soon bringing up the issue of casino-style gambling at Underground Atlanta which has been around for years. Addition of 6,000 new jobs and more than $300 million a year would be brought by two casinos in Fulton County. The City of Atlanta would explode with casino gambling by the new innovation in a positive way. The city needs to drive growth towards Downtown Atlanta. The common perception of people is that, we could revitalize Atlantic, if we could get gambling. And it does bring a lot of people but beyond the casinos, its abysmal. Even though gambling will be bringing some kind of relief. Although, casinos are popular as you can have folks going on tour so other sectors also come into play through the tourism. Every one is going for it as they believe it will be regulated and can generate some revenue. Atlanta will require a constitutional amendment for gambling to be allowed at Underground. The state Legislature would have to pass it with a two-third majority, in order for amendment to be approved. Atlanta has a significant economic impact on the state and the surrounding region.
