As reported by the Press of Atlantic City : ” “… Two of the country’s most
notorious slot cheaters will not be welcome in Atlantic City’s casinos.
“Following similar action two years ago by their Nevada counterparts, New
Jersey gaming regulators voted Wednesday to bar the swindlers from ever
stepping foot inside the 12 casino hotels here. “Dennis McAndrew, 64, and
Eugene Bulgarino, 72, are now part of New Jersey’s ‘exclusion list,’ a
veritable rogues’ gallery of cheaters, mobsters and other unsavory
characters banned by the casino industry. In 2004, the two men were placed
on Nevada’s casino blacklist. “McAndrew was the mastermind and Bulgarino his
chief accomplice of a Las Vegas swindling ring that stole more than $6
million from the Circus Circus, Luxor, Sahara, Excalibur, Rio and Harrah’s
casinos between 1996 and 1997. The scheme involved using a concealed,
handheld computer to illegally program slots so they would pay off big
jackpots…”
