As reported by the St. Paul Business Journal: “Lakes Entertainment Inc. has received $2.6 million from the Kickapoo Traditional Tribe of Texas to settle a dispute over a casino deal in that state, the company said.
“The tribe hired Lakes Entertainment to help it improve the performance of the Kickapoo Lucky Eagle Casino in Eagle Pass, Texas. The relationship was terminated in November.
“As part of the settlement, the tribe will pay $600,000 to Lakes Entertainment in exchange for land the company owns adjacent to the Texas casino?”
