As reported by the Delaware State News: “The slot machine facilities at Delaware’s three horse tracks have begun operating virtually around the clock, taking advantage of a new state law aimed at keeping First State casinos competitive with operations in other states.
“‘It seemed like the right time to expand the hours, given that we are beginning our peak season and the success we had with the longer weekend hours,’ said Dover Downs CEO Denis McGlynn.
“?Delaware Park is bringing in 500 new machines this summer and Dover Downs and Harrington are working on expansion plans to house the machines?”
