As reported by the Delaware State News: “New gambling machines could be coming to Delaware casinos in the fall.
“The state lottery office is soliciting bids from companies to provide multi-player machines offering electronic versions of games such as poker or blackjack.
“Unlike the traditional card games legal in places such as Atlantic City and Las Vegas, but not Delaware, the players would rely totally on luck.
“?A state law passed last year authorized the new machines, and the state lottery office is upgrading the computer system it uses to monitor machines to handle the multi-player versions.
“?The lottery office expects the new machines to be delivered in the fall, but will not have an exact date until it opens bids from machine suppliers in the spring?”
