One on One Poker Rules & Strategy
1 on 1 poker, is played by two players
who are directly competing and are both chasing a superior
hand to the other. It can be played with any of the
following poker games.
- Texas Hold'em
Poker
- Omaha Poker
- 7 Stud Poker
- 5 Stud Poker
There is no limit to the number of
betting rounds and the buy in limit is set by the poker
room. The object of this game is to finish with a stronger
hand than your opponent, and win the pot.
Tactics are different from other poker
games because only one other person is playing, so the
skills of bluffing, slow playing, fast playing and betting
is more prominent. Players who enjoy the element of
surprise will enjoy this game, because so many cards are
left unturned and unknown the stakes is also significantly
higher to win the pot with a high hand.
