The birth of poker has been convincingly dated to the first or second decade of the 19-century. It is vying game, where instead of playing their cards out, the players bet as to whop holds the best cards combination by progressively raising the stakes until either there is a showdown or all but one player have given up betting and dropped out of play, when the last [person to raise wins the pot without a showdown. A five card vying game is one where, no matter how many cards may be dealt to each [player, the only valid combinations are those of five cards.

 

Strategies

 

One of the greatest things about is the game offers good player a way to consistency wins in public casinos and poker rooms. This it is the only games where the player does not compete against the house, unlike the other gambling games where the casinos always wins in the long run, in this game the casino makes its profit from the table.
