Video Poker:
The video poker game is
a close relative of the regular game of poker and is
derived from a combination of slot machines and
five-card draw poker. The major differences between
regular poker and video poker games is that in
second type people playing against a machine rather than
real people, and player goal is to achieve particular
hands rather than beat opponents hands (as there are no
other players).
Video poker games are some of the simplest gambling
games to learn how to play. The basic idea of all video
poker games is to make the best poker hand possible.
Video Poker Gambling:
Video poker gambling is the most obvious way to make
money with minimum risk. Video poker gambling lets
player bet with as little as five cents a hand. Video
poker gambling gives the player a chance to change his
entire hand and start fresh. The player can even choose
to exchange all five cards dealt if he feels like he has
a better chance of winning that way.
Ranking of hands:
In
video poker games the ranking of hands are in ascending
orders. These orders are as follows:
1.
Jacks or better means a pair of jacks or higher.
2.
Two pair means that this is any two pairs of cards.
3.
Three of a kind means that any three of the same card.
4.
Straight means that there are any five consecutive cards
in numerical order, such as five though 10.
5.
Flush means any five cards with the same suit, such as
five hearts.
6.
Full House means that this is a combination of a pair
and three of a kind in the same hand.
7.
Four of a kind indicates four of the same cards.
8.
Straight flush indicates five cards that are in
numerical order and all have the same suit.
Better payoffs:
Video poker
games are considered as the better pay off than the
ordinary poker games. Here gamblers are not playing
against anyone but playing against the machine.
Therefore player just paid according to what he gets.
Many people prefer these types of video games to the
traditional table games.
