Three card poker is game where two games combine in one
head. Here the player may bet in either, both and in
different amounts. Both games are based on hands
consisting of three cards. Three poker games are not
only an easy game but also a very interesting game.
Playing three poker:
Like traditional poker three card poker also playing
with standard pack of 52 card deck. As the game consist
of two games, firstly in Ante game the player is playing
against the dealer to see who has the highest hand.
Secondly, there is also a pair plus game where the
player wagering on whether or not he will be dealt pair
or better.
The play:
There are three betting circles in each seat. The game
starts with the player making a wager in the Pair Plus
and or Ante circle. When the betting is over they dealer
will give each player a three card hand. Now, the
players start play with the first player to the dealer’s
left.
Rules:
When a player has made a bet on the Ante then the player
must make their decision to fold or play after looking
at their hands. If the player folds he forfeits their
Ante wager. If the players want to continue they must
make and additional bet in the Play circle equal to
their Ante bet. After all the players have made their
decisions, the dealer will turn over his three card
hand. The dealer needs to “qualify” with a hand of Queen
or higher for play to continue. If the dealer hand does
not qualify then they will be paid for their Ante wager
and their bet on the Play will be returned to them.
If player hand beats the dealers hand he will be paid
even money for his Ante and Play bets. If the dealer’s
hand beats player’s hand then he lose both bets. In the
rare event of a tie then the player wins the hand.
Hand ranks:
Straight Flush:
Three cards of
the same suit in sequence. Example 6-7-8 of spades.
Three of a Kind: Three cards of equal rank.
Straight: Three cards in sequence of mixed suits.
Flush: Three cards of the same suit.
Pair: Two cards of equal rank.
High Card: The highest card in your hand.
