Meaning of the greedy gambling
Gambling is roughly defined as any wagering activity in
which the chances of winning and losing largely depend
upon the luck. A large number of people like to gamble
in their leisure time. Gambling is very exciting and it
is a good part time activity. But gambling should only
be played in your leisure time and casually. Otherwise
it can create many problems to the gambler. But a lot of
gamblers start gambling not as a part time activity, but
as a means to make money. This type of gambling is
called as the greedy gambling, which has many adverse
bad effects over the gambler.
The reasons of the greedy gambling
The main reason of the greedy gambling is the money
involved in the gambling. Because of this greed of easy
money, gambler starts gambling frequently. It is seen in
some of the recent studies that, side effects of the
greedy gambling starts when, a gambler starts losing
money in the gambling. The greed also does not start as
long as the gambler is winning money. The moment, a
gambler starts losing money, he starts more and more
gambling in order to regain the lost money. This greed
to win, the money lost by the gambler leads a gambler to
the greedy gambling.
Bad effects of the greedy gambling
There are end numbers of side effects of the
greedy gambling.
Greedy gambling can lead to the compulsive gambling,
which is a major mental disorder. In this disorder, the
person gambling cannot quit gambling even if he tries to
quit gambling. Gambling becomes an essential need for
that person. This compulsive gambling may lead to many
side effects. Many gamblers have lost their life long
financial assets in the gambling. This has led to many
suicide cases also. In a recent study it was shown that
divorce rates are higher in the family of gamblers, than
other persons. Compulsive or greedy gambling also
passively affects the health of the gambler. So, it is
advisable to every gambler to gamble occasionally only,
to reduce the side effects of greedy gambling.
