addiction to risk your money on your luck. Whatever, may
be the right view, gambling is very popular and it is
the favorite time pass for many of the people. There are
many ways to gamble your money. Some people like the
casino gambling and some like the sports betting and
horse racing. Some of the gamblers like to gamble in
the casino and some people like to gamble on their
personal computer at their home. The gambling done with
the help of the electronic mediums are considered to be
as electronic gambling.

Most of the people think the computers are the only
electronic medium to gamble but this is not true. There
are various electronic machines used by the casinos such
as poker machines and slot machines. The advent of the
electronic gambling can also be considered from the
introduction of the electronic slot machines at the
casino. The electronic computers and panel controlled
these slot machines. After the electronic slot machines
the distributors launched Internet gambling. The people
started using computers to play gambling games such as
poker, baccarat and others. Now a lot of people play
gambling on the computer with the help of Internet in
their cozy bedrooms. Now, most of the sports betting and
many other gambling transactions are done by the
Internet.

Electronic gambling is popular since its introduction.
Nevada was the first state to legalize the online
gambling and since then it has become million-dollar
industry.
Electronic gambling also brings so much of revenues
to the states. There are some side effects of the
electronic gambling. It can seriously affect the
financial status of the gambler. With the financial
problems gambling also brings some family related
problems such as matrimonial problems. Excess gambling
can take the form of compulsive gambling, which is a
psychological disorder.
