For people new to the gambling world, it is advisable
to spend some time reading this guide so that one starts
with better initial knowledge about the game.
Although
this list is by no means comprehensive it can give you a
good starting point:
A) Set budgets and do not exceed the budgets.
Decide beforehand what is the maximum amount of money
you can involve, and no matter what the urge or the
odds, call it quits when you have lost al that had
budgeted.
b) Read about the game –if you are playing poker,
read through the material available to know the rules
and tricks. Also try and get information about the
casino and its customer service, this is more important
if you are about to gamble online. In online gambling,
make sure you read all the terms and conditions
thoroughly, before clicking to the “Agree” tab.
c) Do not gamble continuously without a break.
Make sure you relax during the time you are
gambling so
that you are able to make the correct choices. Having a
drink, or going around other tables to see what is going
on, having a snack , all these divert the mind for a
while and helps re-focus actively.
d) Do not try to average out losing positions-
When you are on a losing track, it seems convenient and
stake more and hope to turn around the game at some time
and cover the losses. This may or may not happen. A
losing trend needs to be broken. So better take a break
or switch tables or games.
e) Never ever borrow money for gambling- You
never know the consequences, so use only that bit of
money, which is your own and which you are ready to lose
or spend, for some entertainment. Remember, gambling is
not your occupation; you are doing it just for fun and
thrill. Only gamble for fun.
f) Enjoy the free trials – there are quite a few
free games on offer at many casinos, especially online
ones. Make sure you try your hand at some of these. If
nothing else, you gain precious experience
g) How about joining a gambling forum?? You can
interact with the folks of your elk, exchange ideas,
tricks and alerts. There are a god number of forums hat
help out new gamblers to learn the ropes. It’s a good
idea to join more than one forum and evolve winning
strategies by interaction and learning. A wise man
learns from his own experiences, but, an intelligent man
learns from others’ experiences.. So, join a gambling
forum..
