Poker is not just for
men instead it’s even for women where women around the
world are impassioned about poker, and play at all
different levels. And if you want to play exclusive
poker tournaments then you can come to Women’s Poker
Club and the WPC is not like
any other experience you may have had in another forum
or poker club. They have a network of approximately 3000
members worldwide and are yet growing larger. WPC is the
foremost Women's Poker Association where all are about
the encouragement of women in the sport of poker.
What kind of females can play?
In
Women’s Poker club
all types of female players from beginners to seasoned
professionals are welcome to join the club. Here who are
new to poker have a league that is Fresh Poker Faces
that is designed for those who have six months or less
poker playing experience and even to those who are new.
WPC also offers free poker
lessons and includes a peer mentoring program to help
you improve your skills at the tables and hence WPC is a
friendly, supportive,
and most of all fun environment for women and poker. And
the best part of WPC is that it is free to join.
What
is Women Poker Showdown?
Every year
there is a Women Poker Showdown that
caters to the growth
of women entering competitive poker Tournaments and with
four tournaments, optional poker classes, a seminar, and
a satellite tournament for the World Series of Poker
ladies event. Even though more women are playing poker
now-a-days then before, some men still feel that women
are easy targets and don't have the ability to finesse
their opponents at the tables so for this purpose the
WPC Showdown gives women an opportunity to show their
poker playing talent by competing in major poker events,
while having a tremendous amount of fun also.
The
Women’s Poker Club was formed to encourage more women to
enter the sport of poker by providing them with a
supportive and congenial environment to improve their
skills where they also offer peer mentoring, free poker
classes, and league events for women only and now the
club has over 1800 members world-wide.

PokerChix is a nice poker club site for women where they
promote poker learning, strategy, discussion and
competitive play for women poker players. The site is
nicely designed and navigated with content that is easy
to grasp also highly recommended for beginners.
What is the basic
goal of Women’s Poker club?
The Women's Poker
Club was established in December 2003 to encourage more
women to enter the poker playing field by giving them a
congenial and comfortable environment to practice and
improve their skills with other women poker players and
hence this enables them to feel at ease playing in any
environment with any player as well as is good for the
poker industry in general, as it means more players at
the tables and larger prize pools.
