India is dominating in the California gambling politics. The Indian gaming is famous because of its large donation peoples. They contributed more than $9 million to help the campaigns of democratic candidates. As the state lotteries got popularity, many Indians in Florida and California started bingo games. They were offering large prizes than the prizes allowed under the state law. The Indian gaming had generated revenue of approximately $5.1 billion per year in California. The California Indians were the largest contributors to California political campaigns.

The Indian casino has got popularity in California and it is profitable. Because of this many Americans were petitioning the bureau of Indian affairs for recognition of California people in order to buy different types of casinos.

Indian gambling:

Casinos are the outgrowth of control of native nations. Sovereignty is nothing but establishment of a nation depending on their own laws. This is to regulate the citizens. The Indian tribal casinos have received the most attention, jealousy, and criticism. It is making lot of money out of it. The average tribal members had many benefits from casinos.

Indian gambling in California is likely to squash casino revenue growth. Indian gambling is rapidly growing in California. The Indian tribes have become very powerful. The Indian tribes are unified, organized and they have a long-term vision. Half of the California is filled with Indian gambling market. The Indian casinos approximately generate 40 percent of revenue, that is half of that of Nevada’s casinos. According to studies the in future the Indian casinos will have more expansions and upgrades. There is a need of expanding off the reservations in the California Indian gambling. The Indian gambling may suffer in the remote areas of California. Because the most of the tribal casinos in the remote areas cannot compete with the urban race tracks and card clubs filled with slot machines.
