Unlike any other game it is necessary that one should be
aware of the facts that Professional Basketball is
considered official after 43 minutes of regulation play
or at the completion of overtime period. When the
wagering purposes are considered then College Basketball
is considered official after 35 minutes of regulation
play or at the completion of overtime period. One of the
basic rules is that basketball games must be played on
date specified to be considered action. Another factor
that is considered is Games are graded as soon as the
game goes final and is deemed official. There are
various other features such as Divisional winners, will
be graded as soon as the season or tournament is over.
People consider
basketball gambling rules
for a hassle free game and betting is done like it is
done in any other sports team.
Other rules:
All the teams Must Play Minimum of 80 Regular Season
Games for Action. It is seen that
Wagers do Not Include Post-Season Play as per the rules.
There is a Point spread and Total for the entire game as
per the rules. Both the halves are considered equally
and the players are judged by a money line for each
game. There are many variations like the straight bets
that include the total points of the contest by both
teams, overtime included, must fall over or under the
side selected. In some cases online sports books and
casinos offer point spread and over / under betting,
both online and over the telephone.
Other facts:
There is a half-time betting in which
simply a wager only on
the score of the first, or second half of a contest.
Another factor that includes this is the
line offered will be a point spread,
a money line, or a
combination of the two, but the wager applies only to
the score of the halftime period specified. It is
seen that Second half
lines will be offered on all NBA and the majority of
NCAA contests, and will be offered within 5 minutes of
the end of the first half of the contest.
When wagers are considered then they may be parlayed to
other contests, but a first half wager may not be
parlayed to any other wager from the same game. In
exceptional cases there are overtime periods in the
second half of the game.
