It may appear that
addictions are solely pleasure-seeking behaviors but the
roots of addiction can also be traced to a wish to
suppress or avoid some kind of emotional pain as well.
In the other sense addictive or pathological gambling is
gambling behavior that causes disruptions in any major
area of life it may be psychological, physical, social
or vocational. Addictive gambling is sometimes referred
to as the
hidden illness too as
because
there are no visible physical symptoms. Gambling is a
mental health disorder of impulse control. It is a
chronic and progressive disease that is both diagnosable
and treatable too. About 2 to 4 percent of people have
an active gambling problem.
Is lecture or study
important?
There are counselors and
staff experienced in
treating problem
gamblers. There are many problem gamblers are
currently in their program, and many are been treated in
the past year too. More then 50 percentages of the
patients are problem gamblers. Many hours per day are
dedicated to gambling specific treatment or education.
There are the groups or educational topics that address
the specific needs of problem gamblers and their
families. Many lectures are given to the adult children
to educate them in addition in gambling. Many lectures
and programs encompass the full range of assessment and
treatment needs of the individual and family. The
treatment program also address sexual orientation and
physical disabilities as well as provide age, gender and
culturally appropriate services too. In long-term
continuous care support and or guidance encouragement
that provides good health through lectures and educating
people. Ongoing assessment of an individual's treatment
plan to ensure it meets changing needs through
education. The program employ strategies to engage and
keep individuals in treatment, increasing the likelihood
of success and the program offer counseling and other
behavioral therapies to enhance the individual's ability
to function in the family and in community too. The
lecture or education program offers medication as part
of the treatment regimen, and there ongoing monitoring
of possible relapse too. The services or referrals
offered to family members to ensure they understand
problem gambling, its impact on the family and the
recovery process as well.
Proper education
In childhood a proper
awareness should be created among the child. There
should be educational lectures and studies given to the
child so that to let them know about the addiction in
gambling in casino as well at home in net too.
