to Legalize
it?

It is a big
question for the authority to grant permission to gambling as it is not just
viewed as a way to earn easy money but also as a vice. There is an institute
known as the National Gambling Impact Study Commission that was formed in
the year 1997 for the basic purpose of evaluation of gambling activities. As
gambling was viewed as a negative game and it was not given the kind of
importance that other games had there was no such idea that the economic
importance of legalized gambling could be proven.
How does
it help?
In the
beginning it was claimed by the government that it would hamper the growth
of other industries and it would also not contribute to the economy much.
But if there is a calculative study one it can be claimed that gambling is
an industry that has been a source of employment for millions of the people
all over. Gambling is no just restricted to the table now but it is played
widely all over the world by the means of the Internet that become a great
economic activity. A lot of the Americans have favored gambling at various
levels as it has become popular with time.
Government
and Gambling:
There are some
controversies that are on as the passage of the bill in the congress on the
United States of America is being formulated that can withdraw the gambling
rights. The worry of the government is the excessive involvement of the teen
age group who is involved in the gambling process which may have an
economic
importance of legalized gambling but it can ruin the future career prospects
of the persons.
