MGM Grand Detroit Design Revealed

As reported by the Detroit News: "The new permanent MGM Grand Detroit Casino under construction now will be 17-stories high designed in a somewhat art-deco style.

"In a rendering prepared by MGM-Mirage, the hotel/casino/entertainment complex appears to have a rounded tower on one end with art-deco accents and 5,000 car parking structure hidden from site by decorative architecture.

"Floors one through three will have 100,000 square-feet of casino space for slot machines, gaming tables and a poker room. The lower floors also will house at least five restaurants, various size meeting rooms and retail space.

"The upper 14 floors will have 400 hotel rooms"
