Choctaw Casino Durant is a Class II casino located 90 minutes North of Dallas/Fort Worth in Durant, Okla., and has more than 800 gaming devices. S2S is running event filters, voucher class, EGM registration and configuration.
Walt Eisele, VP Advanced Systems Development of Bally Technologies Inc. (NYSE: BYI) and the S2S Committee Chair for GSA, has worked extensively on developing the protocol. He said, "S2S is allowing Choctaw Casino to unify their gaming floor in terms of player tracking, TITO, accounting and others. Implementing S2S has solved a major business need for the Tribe."
S2S has brought a tremendous level of convenience to Choctaw's customers, enabling them to use TITO to go from machine to machine, as opposed to machine to cashier. S2S is also enhancing the casino's back-end by providing a more unified accounting system of machine performance across the overall slot floor. The protocol also enables truly unified player tracking.
GSA Chairman Lyle Bell and Senior VP of Information Technology for the Seminole Tribe of Florida, where S2S is also running on the gaming floor said, "From GSA's standpoint, we are thrilled that S2S is now successfully being implemented on multiple manufacturers systems. That is GSA's goal with each of our protocols, and we are very gratified to achieve this success."
S2S is a standardized communication protocol that enables casino operators to link various casino management systems together, and to easily connect them to hospitality and POS systems. S2S enables systems to share information in a more consistent manner, which allows operators to measure real-time patron activities across the entire property.
