Baccarat is a card game in which one must assemble a hand of two or three cards whose points must come as close to nine as possible when totaled. Eight is the closest number to nine and if anyone has a natural eight where even two cards give you that number, only a natural nine can win in that case. The player with the most amount of money is called the banker and the other hands try at winning by getting as close to the number nine as possible. The first figure in double-digit numbers is ignored and the last digit is taken for the totals.
