The US Federal Appeals Courts has imposed that Federal Wire Act prohibits electronic transmission of information for sports betting across state lines. there is no law, rule and prohibition bill prohibiting gambling of any other kind. Almost all states have specific laws against online gambling. Owning an online gaming operation without proper licensing is illegal.
